Quote: 1987 FRIESLAND Vlieland, 14 October, immature female, trapped and photographed ( H M van Eck et al) . This new species for the Netherlands is also one of the rarest tor Europe (rivalied by Blyth's Pipit) Probably it constituted the first record for continental Europe . After being trapped on 14 October. It was held in captivity until 18 October during which period it lost 6 .2 g in weight On 20 October, it was retrapped on the same place and showed 3.7 g increase in weight which seems to be a good argument in favour of the bird's wild origin.
